Senior System Architect (RF/mmW)

NXP Semiconductors France is seeking a Senior System Architect to drive product specification and architectural definition of complex RF/mmW communication systems, ensuring cutting-edge performance and reliability for our next-generation breakthrough communication IC products.

The preferred candidate is mid-level experienced system architect with prior work expertise in system engineering, modeling, and performance study.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the system-level architecture exploration and definition of new semiconductor IC products,

encompassing RF/mmW, analog and digital functions

• Conduct detailed system analysis, requirements gathering, and specification development, translating

product requirements into technical solutions

• Perform feasibility studies, trade-off analyses, and risk assessments for proposed RF system architectures
• Collaborate closely with design, V&V teams to ensure seamless integration and validation of system

components

• Develop and implement system-level test plans and strategies to ensure robust functionality and

performance

• Act as a key technical interface with customers, understanding their needs and translating them into

technical requirements and solutions.

• Drive continuous improvement in system engineering processes and methodologies
• Contribute to intellectual property generation through patent disclosures and technical publications
• Contribute towards wireless technology standardization efforts

Your Profile

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Communication Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in product definition and system engineering of wireline and/or RF/mmW wireless

communication IC products

• Strong expertise in programming and modeling - C, C++, MATLAB, Python
• Solid experience in digital or analog communication system specification, performance assessment and

trade-off analysis

• Individual hands-on contributor but works closely with team members from diverse cultures and geographies
• Excellent written, oral and presentation capability
