Dock Worker / Forklift Operator (M/F)

Our client, a recognized leader in the processing and packaging of egg products for the catering and agri-food industry, is actively looking for 1 to 2 Dock Workers (M/F) for its site in Ambrières-les-Vallées (53).

At the heart of the logistics flow, you will ensure the receipt of raw materials as well as the shipment of finished products while ensuring strict compliance with safety and hygiene rules. The position is to be filled as soon as possible to strengthen the current team.

The missions : Loading, unloading and delicate handling

Reporting to the dock manager, your main missions will consist of

Careful unloading: Receive deliveries and unload egg pallets. This step requires great mastery of handling equipment and special attention to handle this very fragile merchandise.

Loading of goods: Prepare and carry out the loading of trucks and heavy containers (up to 1 ton) while respecting the loading plan and load balancing.

Control & Traceability: Check the condition of the pallets, the conformity of the goods received/shipped and fill out the associated transport documents.

Maintenance of the area: Ensure the cleanliness of the dock area and the good condition of the handling equipment.

You must hold valid CACES R489 categories 1B and 3 licenses, with excellent driving skills.

You are recognized for your meticulousness, your dexterity and your great caution. The fragility of the merchandise requires smooth driving and great precision in your maneuvers.

Rigorous, punctual and endowed with a good team spirit, you ideally have a first successful experience in dock or agri-food logistics.

Hours: Variable hours in team rotation (Morning or Afternoon).
