Maintenance Technician (M/F)

The ACTUAL CDD/CDI Recruitment Division is looking for a Maintenance Technician (M/F) for its client, a company that provides rendering, collection, and processing of high-risk animal materials, ensuring health and environmental safety. You will work within a structure whose technical and industrial expertise is directly at the service of the health and environmental safety of all territories.

You will join a group of several hundred employees with 3 factories and 24 collection centers, present in more than 42 departments.

In your new position, you will work within the on-site maintenance department located in the St-Pourçain-sur-Sioule (Allier) area, and you will intervene on the entire machine fleet. You have mastered several technical fields: electricity, mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics. You are comfortable with corrective and preventive maintenance. You are also proactive regarding improvement maintenance.

The position is 100% operational, working in pairs. The on-call rotation is defined by a schedule (15 days in advance) with a Primary and a Substitute. Continuous training and skills development are provided throughout your experience. As part of your duties, you will participate in:

preventive and corrective maintenance of all site equipment, including a wide variety of technology and energy production, through interventions in the fields of electricity, mechanics, hydraulics, energy management (boiler room), pneumatics, and automation.

investment and equipment improvement projects maintaining spare parts stock levels using our CMMS software.

You will work on industrial manufacturing processes in the chemical sector such as grinding, drying, pressing, and filtration, as well as on environmental protection processes such as water and air treatment.

Activity zone: the position is based in the Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule (Allier) area

Remuneration and benefits: fixed remuneration (29-34K€), depending on profile and experience + 13th month/Holiday bonus/Profit-sharing/Company Savings Plan/Mutual insurance/Provident fund/CSE benefits/Holiday vouchers

Schedule: position to be filled on a permanent contract (CDI), fixed hours, Monday to Friday (6am-1pm / 10am-5pm / 9am-4pm), in pairs

You hold a BAC+2 (2-year degree) in electrotechnics and/or industrial maintenance and/or you have field experience in maintenance. You have an electrical-dominant profile with a good foundation in mechanics and pneumatics (automation and hydraulics can also be a real plus). You are rigorous, have good analytical skills, are organized, and are comfortable communicating. You are looking for a long-term commitment.
