Methods Technician (M/F)

Define manufacturing methods, formulate them and transmit them to the relevant operators. Optimize manufacturing processes.

Pre-industrialization phase

Analyze drawings and technical data for new products

Study the industrial feasibility of parts

Define requirements for tooling and raw materials

Industrialization phase

Define manufacturing routings

Manage the manufacturing of tooling and assemblies, internally and externally: consulting suppliers, drafting purchase requests, monitoring order progress, defining and carrying out associated checks

Define routings and bills of materials for prototypes and ensure their monitoring in the workshop

Define programming for CNC machines

Compile manufacturing files (phase contracts, method plans, technical documentation, etc.)

Enter and maintain technical data in the ERP system

Production monitoring phase

Identify and analyze issues encountered during initial series and propose technical solutions

Carry out time studies

Cutting tools and small workshop equipment

Propose improvements to jigs, tools and methods in order to secure and make manufacturing processes more reliable, and/or reduce manufacturing costs and times

Carry out tests

Deploy selected improvement initiatives

Technological monitoring

Ensure technological monitoring of tooling, jigs and manufacturing processes

Propose and develop innovative solutions adapted to the workshop

Participate in the analysis of the causes of non-conformities

Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of corrective actions

Propose areas for improvement aimed at reducing non-quality rates

DIPLOMAS- 2-year degree in Mechanical Engineering (BTS or DUT);- 3 years of experience as a CNC machine setter/programmer;

Proficiency in CAM;EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:

Schedule monitoring and communication;

Proficiency in MS Office;

Knowledge of document management
