Milling machine setter M/F permanent contract Saint-Chamond

Our recruitment agency is currently supporting one of its clients, a recognized industrial company on a human scale (approximately 100 employees), in the recruitment of its future Milling machine setter M/F on a permanent contract.

Your mission

At the heart of the production workshop, you play a key role in the quality and performance of machining. With complete autonomy, you ensure the setting, monitoring, and optimization of manufacturing operations.

Your responsibilities

Prepare, set up, and start milling machines

Identify the different machining phases and define the appropriate parameters (speeds, feeds, lubrication, passes)

Adjust and set cutting tools according to production needs

Carry out machining of parts in small and medium series

Check the conformity of parts (reading drawings, tolerances, surface finishes)

Ensure traceability and fill out production documents with rigor

Modify or create machining programs if necessary

Follow the manufacturing schedule while respecting priorities

Training & skills

Machining training: BEP, Bac Pro or BTS (or equivalent)

Required technical skills

Mastery of machining techniques, in particular: Milling, Drilling, Good knowledge of ISO programming, Mastery of numerical controls, ideally on FANUC or HEIDENHAIN systems, Knowledge of cutting tools and different materials, Reading and interpretation of technical drawings
