Lathe operator/setter (M/F)

We are looking for a Lathe operator/setter (M/F) for one of our clients located in Chaponost (69).

Your main missions:

Ensure the storage and cleanliness of the material stock.

Cut the material on automatic saws.

Program machine tools.

Design CNC programs based on drawings and send them to the machines.

Prepare machining operations (material availability, cutting tools).

Mount cutting tools on the machine.

Adjust machines to ensure the desired quality level.

Perform machining operations based on defined programs.

Check machined parts.

Participate in the maintenance of the tools and machines used.

Apply quality, hygiene, safety rules and other standards in force (iso 9001).

Salary: To be defined according to experience

Start as soon as possible on 35h/week contracts

Required skills:

Experience in mechanical machining, setter level.

Mastery of setting and operating production lathes.

Reading drawings and using control means.

Knowledge of quality, hygiene, and safety rules.

Ability to work independently, with rigor and precision.

Education: Diploma in machining or mechanics appreciated, depending on profile and experience.
