Forklift Operator CACES 5 (M/F)

Actual, a recruitment company, is currently looking for a Reach Truck Operator R489 Cat 5 (M/F) for a position in ST VULBAS 01150.

As a Reach Truck Operator holding the CACES R489 category 5 license, you will play a key role in the management and movement of goods in the warehouse.Your missions will include:

Driving reach trucks (CACES 5): You operate a high-reach forklift to store, move, or retrieve pallets in racking, sometimes up to 12 meters high.

Storage and retrieval of goods: You ensure the organization of products in the warehouse, respecting defined locations, stock rotation rules (FIFO, LIFO), as well as safety instructions.

Replenishment of picking areas: You carry out the supply of preparation areas, bringing the necessary pallets to the order pickers.

Loading and unloading of trucks: You handle pallets during logistics operations, ensuring the stability and safety of the loads.

Visual and qualitative inspection of goods: You check the condition of packages before and after handling, report any anomalies, breakage, or stock discrepancies.

Participation in equipment maintenance: You ensure the daily maintenance of the truck and report any malfunctions to your manager.

Remuneration:

Your remuneration will be approximately €2198 gross including paid leave and end-of-mission allowances,

Your schedule:

35 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 1:30 PM fixed schedule.

The ideal candidate is a rigorous, organized, and safety-conscious professional, with successful experience in driving R489 category 5 (reach mast) forklifts. He/she perfectly masters the handling of loads at height, knows how to move with precision in demanding logistics environments, and has a sense of responsibility regarding equipment and goods.

Expected skills and qualities:

Holder of a valid CACES R489 Category 5 license

Experience in driving reach trucks (ideally in high-bay warehouses)

Knowledge of storage, preparation, and stock management procedures

Vigilance, respect for safety instructions and quality procedures

Ability to work independently while being part of a team

Level of experience and training: Desired experience of 6 months to 1 year minimum in a similar position

No diploma required, but internal training can be provided if necessary
