Global Chief of Staff Intern (Marseille)

Join CEVA France SASU in Marseille as a Global Chief of Staff Intern and gain invaluable exposure to strategic operations within a leading logistics and management organisation. This internship offers a unique opportunity to support the CEO Chief of Staff and the CMA CGM CEO Office, contributing to high-impact decisions at the Group level and developing a broad skill set across business strategy, market analysis, and operational excellence.

Job Purpose

As a Global Chief of Staff Intern, you will be instrumental in providing comprehensive support to the CEO Chief of Staff in both daily and long-term initiatives. Your role will encompass preparing briefing notes and delivering insightful presentations for strategic meetings and business trips. You will also engage in detailed analysis of specific markets, clients, and strategic projects, enhancing decision-making processes and internal operations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare well-structured presentations for strategic management team meetings, ensuring clarity and alignment with corporate goals.

Conduct in-depth analyses of various markets, client segments, and strategic initiatives to support evidence-based decision-making.

Execute daily tasks alongside the Chief of Staff, assisting in prioritisation and coordination of executive activities.

Provide vital strategic information and actionable insights to the CMA CGM CEO Office to facilitate informed decisions at the Group level.

Actively participate in strategic discussions and planning sessions alongside the management team, contributing innovative ideas and perspectives.

Coordinate the organisation of CEO travels and meetings with clients, ensuring logistical excellence and maximising strategic engagement outcomes.

Identify and implement process optimisations to enhance internal workflow efficiency and productivity.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills

Education & Qualifications: Candidates should be pursuing or have completed education at a Business, Engineering, or Political Science Grande Ecole, demonstrating strong academic foundations in their respective disciplines.

Experience: Prior experience or internships in consulting, finance, or logistics sectors will be advantageous, as they provide relevant exposure to strategic environments and analytical frameworks.

Specialist Knowledge & Skills: Fluency in English is essential to communicate effectively in our international context. Knowledge of business finance and logistics will aid in understanding the complex ecosystem within which CEVA France operates.

Interpersonal & Communication Skills: The role demands a proactive approach, exceptional organisational abilities, and structured working methods. Strong communication skills and the capacity for analysis and synthesis of complex information are vital. Candidates should exhibit curiosity and autonomy, demonstrating the initiative and self-motivation to thrive within a dynamic environment.
