English Speaking - CNC Operator

Would you like to play an important role in the precise processing of materials using modern machines? As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for carrying out and monitoring various metalworking processes within the Jobshop. Together with a small team, you will ensure that materials are processed correctly and orders are completed according to schedule. You will work with different machines and handle a variety of materials and work orders. Throughout the process, you will monitor the quality and progress of the production work.

Your responsibilities will include:

Operating various CNC-controlled machines;

Working with machines such as press brakes, milling machines and laser cutting machines;

Reading and reviewing work orders, setup lists and additional instructions;

Collecting, checking and sorting materials;

Loading materials into the appropriate machines for processing;

Monitoring the progress and quality of the work;

Picking and completing orders;

Registering and managing raw materials and supplies;

Monitoring stock levels and ordering materials when necessary;

Working closely with colleagues within the Jobshop and other departments.

You will have the opportunity to become familiar with different machines and techniques. If you already have experience with CNC machines or metalworking, you can put your knowledge to use straight away. If you do not have this experience yet but have a technical mindset and are motivated to learn, you will also have plenty of opportunities to develop your skills in this role.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with technology, has a practical mindset and is interested in operating different machines. You do not need to know everything from the start: motivation and a willingness to learn new techniques are just as important.

You recognise yourself in the following:

You have an MBO-level education or equivalent working and thinking level;

You have an interest in technology, production and/or metalworking;

Experience in the metalworking industry or with CNC machines is an advantage;

You are motivated and eager to develop your skills;

You are willing to learn new tasks and techniques;

You can work independently as well as part of a team;

You work accurately and have an eye for quality;

You have a practical mindset and a hands-on approach;

You have a good command of the Dutch language.
