We are looking for our client, based in Poitiers, for a Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver (M/F) with overnight stays.

As a Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver, your duties are as follows

Preparing the truck before departure

Loading the truck, or ensuring it is done correctly, and verifying the compliance of the load

Uncovering/recovering the trailer and/or semi-trailer

Monitoring unloading

Completing administrative documents: delivery slips, invoices, customs formalities, keeping the logbook up to date

Maintaining the truck: oil changes, greasing, and ensuring the vehicle's condition is checked

Reporting any malfunctions or non-compliance of the vehicle.
