Charterer / freight forwarder (M/F)

ACTUAL SAINT PRIEST is recruiting a Charterer / freight forwarder (M/F) for one of its clients based in Mions.

The national/international charterer or freight forwarder has the following main missions

Organize the transport of goods from the docks to the departure of our docks

Create "transport files" in the ERP

Organize truck loading (depending on remaining space) with national or international partners

Contact shippers/consignees to find out the schedules and possibilities for delivery/collection

Coordinate the stages of the road transport service with partners and subcontractors

Manage any issues that may arise during transport

Send proof of delivery to foreign partners every day

Contribute to ensuring a service that meets the company's objectives in terms of service quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability

Conditions:

Quick start in temporary work initially

Hourly rate to be defined according to profile and experience: between 12.50 and 13.50€

35h/week contract - daytime hours

A first experience in the transport or transit sector is appreciated to carry out your missions.

We are looking for a person with a Bac +2 level in Transport and Logistics, capable of working with rigor, with a good command of English and ensuring customer follow-up.

Beginners are also welcome.

Mastery of IT tools is essential, as is your interpersonal skills to interact effectively with national and international partners.
